LPI enjoys an A+ Rating Award from the

Q: How long will I be in treatment? How much does it cost?
A: You will receive a private, one hour complimentary consultation. Your consultant evaluates your treatment area. We ask you about your history, including your general health and previous hair removal practices and experiences. We give you a quote for the total number of treatments necessary for that area, a schedule of appointments plus the total cost of treatment to make that area hair free. We also take baseline photographs.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Treatment with the LPI Integrated System® of permanent hair removal is comfortable. Our probe can only penetrate a natural follicle opening. Nothing is forced. And, because the shaft is insulated, the release of current comes only at the bare tip of the probe and feels like a mild mosquito bite.
Q: If I start treatment now, when will I be hair free?
A: Within one complete hair growth cycle in the treatment area.
Q: Does the area (eyebrow, upper lip, chin, beard, arms, underarm, hands, bikini, legs, and feet) to be treated determine the overall time of treatments?
A: Yes. For women, the eyebrows and upper lip have the shortest natural cycle while the legs have the longest cycle. For a man, the eyebrows have the shortest natural cycle and the back the longest cycle.
Q: What is a natural hair cycle?
A: All hair goes through a natural 3-phase cycle: Active, Transitional, and Dormant
Q: Do you treat all areas of the face and body?
A: Yes, except membrane tissue.
Q: Does the color or texture of the hair affect the overall length of treatment?
A: No. Neither color nor texture is a contributing factor in determining the length of treatment. Only the quantity of hair and the natural cycle of the hair in the area will affect the amount of time required to make an area permanently hair-free.
Q I live far from any of your offices, is there any way for me to have specially scheduled treatments at one of your offices?
A: Yes. After your first consultation appointment, we can create a special schedule of intensive appointments with greater intervals of time between visits.
Q: What are the primary differences between hair removal treatment with lasers and the Lucy Peters® Integrated System®?
A: The primary difference is that lasers do not perform permanent hair removal. The Lucy Peters® Integrated System® effects immediate, permanent hair removal and there are published clinical trials that scientifically verify the efficacy of our treatment. See Dr. Kligman’s remarks
Q: Why does Lucy Peters® not offer laser hair removal treatment?
A: “If laser provided safe permanent hair-free results we would be offering you laser hair removal treatment. But it doesn’t and therefore, we don’t” exclaims Lucy Peters®.”
